4AGE 20V + Adaptronic e420d + Toda 264-264 cam

One of R.N.R Autosport customer have upgraded his machine.Previously it was stock 20v Blacktop with metal head gasket and adjustable cam pulley on exhaust,was run by Adaptronic e420d ecu with R.N.R Autosport  COP conversion kit.

The owner have upgraded his cam to Toda 264-264 9mm lift.Others remain untouched,even the piston is OEM 81mm. OEM Rotating internals have been balanced.

The blue graph is Toda Cam run with previous tune,the red graph is Toda Cam after tuning the ecu,the power drop above 8000rpm is due to cam settings,the owner will send the car to his mechanic to optimize the cam timing and hit the dyno again.The VVT is still retained in this setup.The gain is almost 9HP, i reckon it can get more than 160HP on this dyno with proper cam dialing setup.

Fuel is RON97 with Octane booster.

We have new product for this month;for those who have problems with their 4AGE 20v Silvertop ECU (burned,unstable idle,etc),you now can change to a newer 4AGE 20v Blacktop ECU by using this kit without need to send your car for rewiring,it is fast,less hassle and reliable.No need to leave your car for days in workshops.Free yourself from the trouble of the Silvertop ECU (which prone to leaking the caps) and free yourself from the restrictive airflow sensor where you can run a velocity stack.

The kit comes with the PnP harness for the ecu,with PnP harness for the fuel pump relay(for ecu controlled fuel pump) and the connectors for the MAP sensor and Air Temp sensor.(MAP sensor and 20V Blacktop ecu sold separately) .

4AG 20V + Adaptronic e420d ECU + Tomei Poncam

Hi,R.N.R Autosport was approached by a customer to have the Adaptronic e420d installed and tuned for his 4AGE 20V Blacktop engine with Tomei Poncam,all others are stock except for 0.8mm metal headgasket and adjustable pulley on the exhaust cam. The VVT is retained.

 

The engine,fairly stock.This is our first time tune on DYNOJET. I still favor the Dynamics more as its better in steady state mapping.

 

The blue graph is stock ecu + Poncam

The red graph is Adatpronic e420d + Poncam

Very healthy increase in power and torque,and also removed the torque dip with the stock ecu.As you can see the stock ecu also have a dangerously lean AFR across the midrange.

Fuel is RON 97.
